Posted on Tuesday February 27, 2018

Cobourg, ON – February 27, 2018 – Local employers are looking to recruit for current job openings at the upcoming Northumberland County Job Fair, hosted by the Community Employment Resource Partnership (CERP). Building on the success of previous employment fairs that have drawn hundreds of local job-seekers, CERP has invited 25 organizations looking to hire—including eight new participants— to connect with potential employees at the Cobourg Lions Community Centre on March 7, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

As in previous years, this event will showcase employers that either have current job openings or  anticipate having openings in the near future. Employers may conduct interviews on-site with qualified applicants, for positions in sectors including:

  • Recreation
  • Resort/spa
  • Healthcare
  • Manufacturing
  • Food service
  • Transportation
  • Landscaping
  • Retail
  • Construction

Organizers once again recommend that job seekers planning to attend the Job Fair bring multiple copies of their cover letter and resume, and dress in interview-appropriate attire.
