Becoming a part of Northumberland County´s growing plastics sector has its advantages. Canada has the lowest costs of any G-8 country when building and operating a plastics company during its first 10 years. Ontario´s plastics industry employs nearly 90,000 highly skilled workers and is ranked third in North America in terms of total plastics output. Northumberland is one of only 2 counties out of 13 Ontario East counties to have high concentrations in both resin and plastics production.
