Landfill Info & Transfer Stations
Northumberland residents may deliver residential waste, tires, drywall, construction and renovation materials, scrap metal items, large bulky items that are not collected at curbside (i.e. furniture/mattresses/white goods), leaves and brush to the Brighton and Seymour landfills, and Bewdley Transfer Station. The Hope Transfer Station is for residents living in Ward 2 only and only accepts household trash, recycling, and scrap metal.
- Waste loads must be tarped and secure to prevent littering.
- Charges apply to all loads of waste delivered to the landfills.
- All sites, except for the Hope Transfer Station, accept clean loads of leaves and brush year-round.
All sites will be CLOSED in 2012 on the following days due to statutory holidays:
