Residents may place up to, but no more than, 3 bags of household garbage at the curb for weekly collection. Each of the three bags must be tagged with a garbage tag, valued at $2.75 each increase effective May 1, 2008. Tags are also available from all municipal offices, the County of Northumberland Office, landfills and transfer stations. Please be advised that some vendors charge a handling fee of 10% (a maximum of $3.02 per tag). |
