Weed Control

In Northumberland County, enforcement of Ontario's Weed Control Act is administered by the Forest Department.

Under the Weed Control Act (R.S.O. 1990, Chapter W.5), the County's Weed Inspector can order a land owner to destroy plants designated as noxious weeds (Click here for Ontario's noxious weed list)
