The Northumberland County Forest offers more than 40km of ATV trails that can be used as loops for a ride in the Forest or as connectors to a larger regional trail system. The Northumberland County Forest provides a trail riding experience only and there are no mudholes or obstacles. ATV trails in the Northumberland County Forest are maintained in partnership with the Northumberland and District ATV Riders Club (NDATV).

ATVers using the County Forest trails, other than Dunbar Rd., must be members of the NDATV, Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance, or the Ontario Federation of ATV Clubs. To become a member of the NDATV Club, please visit their website www.northumberlandatvriders.com. ATVs must be plated and insured and comply with all applicable provincial and municipal laws such as the Off-road Vehicle Act and the Township of Anlwick/Haldimand ATV By-Law 64-2008. The Northumberland County Forest is patrolled by the Northumberland O.P.P., Municipal By-law enforcement officers and volunteer trail wardens.

IMPORTANT: Club memberships cannot be purchased through Northumberland County. Please see the NDATV Club's website for more information.
