Children's Enrichment
The Children's Enrichment Program focuses on collaborative development of nutritional support programs addressing familial hunger:
- Northumberland Child Development Centre and "Milk for Moms" - a program that provides young pregnant women and families with coupons to purchase milk.
- Northumberland Food for Thought - universal school-based breakfast and snack programs across Northumberland County.
- The Salvation Army and the "Good Food Box" - a program that offers families the opportunity to purchase a box full of nutritional food products at a cost of $15 per family per month. This program has recently expanded to include Trent Hills and Brighton.
