County seeking volunteers to advise on the delivery of accessible services

Cobourg, ON – November 29, 2018 –  Northumberland County invites residents with a disability, support persons and individuals with knowledge or experience of the barriers faced by those with disabilities to join the Northumberland Accessibility Advisory Committee (NAAC).

The committee meets monthly (excluding July, August and December) and provides advice, recommendations and support to County Council and all County departments on ensuring accessible programs, services and facilities. Meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and lunch is provided.
